| Thyroidectomy, Calcium & Xtreme
X2O
On 13th July 2005 I had my thyroid gland removed. The surgeon also removed my parathyroid glands and re-implanted them, but they never re-grew. As a result I was immediately put on a prescription Calcium supplement called AlphaCalcidol. However, despite this supplement, I continued experiencing terrible cramping especially in my hands and feet. I have had my calcium levels checked by my GP since and it has remained at 1.8-1.9. I was then introduced to Xtreme X2O by a therapist friend of mine called Peter Farnsworth. Within a few weeks the cramps completely disappeared. Then, at the next blood test, my Calcium levels were up for the first time from 1.8 to 2.4! Thank you Xooma! For more information about Helen & her work, visit www.helensyoga.co.uk |
